Crime Watch
The art of investigating and solving crimes was played out and brought into the living rooms of over a million homes with the monthly telecast of Crime Watch on television. Utilising the power of the broadcast media, the Singapore Police Force took on a novel approach to solicit public assistance in solving crimes.

Segments on "Solved Crime", "Community Safety & Security Programme" and "Special Features" helped to cultivate public spiritedness in viewers and enhance public confidence in the Singapore Police's ability to solve crimes.

Camp EVO (NEW!)
Youths, as they go through their formative years of life, are easily susceptible in becoming victims or perpetrators of crime. To reach out to these youths more effectively, NCPC organises frequent crime prevention outreach programmes to engage them in a fun and interactive manner. One of its signature programmes which has been proven successful for the past 3 years is “Camp EVO”. The camp’s objectives are:

(a) To promote crime prevention awareness in recognising delinquent behaviour amongst youths;

(b) To encourage proactive learning, build up self-esteem and interpersonal communication skills;

(c) To instil sound values and develop a positive attitude towards life and breaking existing ‘negative’ mindsets to allow for greater self discovery; and

(d) To be ‘community-aware’, in recognising the role each person plays in society today.

“Camp EVO” which promotes greater personal Empowerment, Vibrancy and Outreach, does so by encouraging proactive learning, building up of self-esteem and interpersonal communication skills.

Through this camp, students will embark on a journey of greater self discovery and be empowered to reach a higher level of potential. With strengthened positive personality traits, the camp strives to instill in our youths, a stronger sense of community and social responsibility to impact positive influence on their peers and friends.
